Dentologie is seeking a full-time (or part-time) Dental Hygienist to practice in our Chicago, IL dental office(s). You will be directly responsible for the patientand#39;s Hygienist experience. You will also be expected to promote the employee culture at Dentologie not only within the hygiene team, but also with the rest of Dentologie by leading with a positive and professional demeanor. Dentologie Location(s) include: South Loop : 1259 S Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60605 Streeterville : 353 E Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60611 West Loop : 217 N Green St, Chicago, IL 60607 Gold Coast : 1201 N Dearborn St , Chicago, IL 60610 Clark and Diversey : 617 W Diversey Pkwy, Chicago, IL 60614 Bucktown : 1625 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647 River North: 444 N Orleans St. Chicago, IL 60654 Responsibilities: Perform a variety of patient care and office related duties. Assist dentist chairside during examinations Provide a 10-star Patient experience. Contribute positively to an engaging corporate culture Prepares instruments and materials for procedures for your patients Helps to provide direct patient care in all dental periodontal services in which you are licensed to perform. Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair while preparing them for treatment Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education including at home care. Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos. Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations, periodontal charting as well as planned treatment. Monitor daily supplies for restocking. Provide patients with instructions for oral care following periodontal procedures as well as other dental treatment procedures completed by dentists. Follows infection control protocol by preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and operatories. Required Skills/Abilities: Traveling to ALL locations Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication andamp; customer service skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care. Strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisors andamp; leadership skills. Prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
