St. Clair Dental, Pllc is looking for an individual that is driven, organized and self-motivated. We are looking for a Business Assistant/Patient Coordinator to add to our team. We are a private dental practice in Granbury, Tx. with a wonderful patient population, enthusiastic team, and sincere dentist dedicated to quality patient care. Please understand that this is not a Management position. Business Assistant/Patient Coordinator In this role, you will serve as the chief point of contact for our patients. This means that having an upbeat attitude and professional demeanor are essential. With at least 2 years dental experience required. Serious candidates only. Responsibilities and Duties • Exercise excellent customer service while interacting with patients both over the phone and in person. • Greeting and welcoming patients, complete patient registration, and enter all patient information into patient chart. • Schedule patient appointments within operational standards. • Confirm patient appointments starting two (2) business days prior to the patients’ appointments. • Communicating with Insurance providers to verify patient’s insurance benefits. • Arranging referrals to other dental specialists. • Preparing, pulling, and filing of patient charts. • Organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front desk area. • Verifying services provided, walking patient appointment out, and collecting payments as needed. • Present and review patient’s needed treatment and possible out of pocket expense as needed. Qualifications and Skills • High School Diploma or GED • Dental office experience REQUIRED • Insurance verification experience preferred • Basic clerical and administrative skills • Excellent customer service skills with professional and courteous phone etiquette • Sound knowledge of dental terminology is REQUIRED • Experience with Dentrix software preferred • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
