Our private PPO/FFS practice is expanding and we are seeking a professional, outgoing, organized and friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a general dental practice located in the town of Verona, NJ and we serve much of Essex County. We are currently offering a full-time (4 or 5 days) position with competitive pay and benefits. Our team is committed to excellence in both dentistry and patient care; therefore, the applicants must possess the following characteristics: * A kind and friendly demeanor (as we hold patient satisfaction in high regard) * Willingness to talk to patients and help them feel comfortable * Highly organized, self-motivated, willingness to learn, and be a team player.  * Willingness to assist with front desk duties when needed * Knowledge of Patterson Eaglesoft Software is a plus (general computer skills are also a plus) RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures * Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment * Take digital radiographs * Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment * Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures * Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures * Perform various office tasks as necessary QUALIFICATIONS: * State issued X-Ray License where state regulations specify * High School Diploma or equivalent * Resume must demonstrate stable employment history We work hard to earn our patientsand#39; respect and confidence.
