Our busy dental practice is looking for a dental front desk team member with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care to support our office team. Our ideal candidate has outstanding customer service skills, basic experience in dental front office, scheduling appointments, creating and updating patient accounts and patient communications. We’re a close-knit office team that likes to have fun and emphasizes teamwork. If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to apply. Location HUMBLE, TX Dental Reception Team Member Responsibilities. Duties of daily front office operations, maintaining a clean and welcoming dental front desk area. Greet patients warmly, help them fill out forms, and advise them of office policies and patient care procedures. Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments and make reminder phone calls. Assist in processing payments including cash, checks and credit card transactions. Update patient electronic records with x-rays, treatment plans, and financial/ insurance information, etc. Lead administrative duties such as filing, mailing, and patient file creation as needed. Dental Reception Team Member Qualifications. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. At least 6 months of experience in dental front office position - preferably as a dental receptionist or front desk assistant. Being fluent and proficient in Spanish is a big plus. Computer proficiency with MS Office, and with Dental Practice Management software like Dentrix is necessary. Basic understanding of dental front office procedures, dental coding and terminology, and best practices in scheduling, and dental charting. Possess high-level communication skills, problem-solving, organization, and exceptional customer service skills. Competitive Salary Between $15-$16 (based on qualifications and experience), plus bonus structure and benefit structure.
