The Opportunity: Part-Time Leading to Full-Time Weand#39;re currently seeking an energetic individual to step into the role of a part-time hygienist, with the potential to transition into a full-time position in the near future. The initial part-time schedule offers two days a week, while the full-time schedule will be four days per week. Our Working Hours*: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM (Lunch Break: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) *If you can work 2 or more of these days, please apply! Job Accountabilities: As a valued member of our team, you will: - Perform oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing to ensure optimal oral health. - Skillfully remove hard and soft deposits and stains from teeth surfaces, leaving patients with radiant smiles. - Apply topical fluoride and sealants to teeth, enhancing protection against cavities. - Expertly take X-rays and intra-oral photos to aid in accurate diagnoses. - Educate and counsel patients on effective oral hygiene practices. - Offer valuable nutrition and dietary guidance to support overall oral health. - Assist in recare scheduling and confirmation, ensuring efficient patient flow. - Thoroughly review and document medical and dental health history, while recording blood pressure measurements. - Maintain precise disease and perio charts to aid in tracking patient progress. - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment. - Keep treatment rooms fully stocked and organized, contributing to a seamless workflow. - Collaborate as a team player to ensure a harmonious and productive work environment. Minimum Qualifications: - Education: Associateand#39;s degree in Dental Hygiene. - Experience: While no experience is required, 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
