Description

Cornerstone Dental Arts is adding to our family! This position is more than just a job; itand#39;s an opportunity to be an integral part of a great dental team. Must have two years or more experience in these areas. Must have a positive/flexible attitude and teamwork oriented. Applicant must possess a current Registered Dental Assistant license with x-ray and nitrous certification and active CPR training. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take x-rays - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming trays - Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records and documentation - Assist with dental coding and billing processes - Provide support in dentistry, including managing anxious patients - Experience with Cerec technology for digital impressions and restorations - OSHA/ HIPAA compliant - Teamwork oriented- help any team member that needs help on downtime. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred - X-ray certification required; additional certifications such as CPR, coronal polishing, or sealant application are a plus - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficient in dental documentation and recordkeeping practices - Experience with Sedation Dentistry is a plus, always willing to train! Position includes working at more than one of our locations ( within close proximity of one another). Compensation negotiable dependent on experience.
