North Georgia Pediatric Dentistry is an established, private, pediatric dental practice, and is currently seeking a full-time certified dental assistant to join our dynamic team! You must love working with children as much as we do! Our team is busy and system-oriented. We prioritize the use of the latest technology (including digital x-rays and charting) in order to provide the highest quality patient care. The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. We offer a friendly, caring work atmosphere, a four-day work week and competitive pay and benefits. As our perfect match you: We are looking for someone wanting to get some experience in the dental field. You do not need any prior dental experience as we are looking for an entry level dental assistant. Have the ability to maintain a current certification in Georgia Possess a current x-ray certification Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service Show a strong respect for all of your coworkers, regardless of position Are willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization Have a thorough understanding of the importance of taking dental histories and maintaining accurate patient records Can readily take instruction from the treating provider, and can adapt to different styles and requirements within a multi-provider practice Your history likely shows: Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person This position is Monday-Thursday, 7:45AM-4:30PM.
