Days: four-day week, alternating Wednesdays and Fridays off, and no Saturdays Benefits: offer health insurance, PTO and 401(k); paid CEs; scrubs allowance; bonus system; in-office discount plan Administrative • Answer phones • Manage voicemails and emails • File daily deposits and reports • Sign for deliveries Marketing • Social media • Asking for referrals • Community-based • Minor cleaning, e.g., bathroom, reception Patient • Check-in and check-out • Have pertinent documents signed o Consents o Medical histories and updates o Financial, appointment and privacy policies o Others as needed • Receive and post all methods of payment • Prepare and present treatment plans • Prepare and explain financial arrangements • Manage referrals made to and from the office • Securely handle records in compliance with state and federal requirements, including HIPAA privacy and security regulations Insurance • Verify • Prepare claims, including any necessary documents • Follow-up on unpaid Schedule • Maintain flow and volume: new patient, treatment, re-care, emergencies, etc. Calls: • Confirm appointments • Pending treatment • Re-care • After-care/post-op • New patient (thank you and referral) Qualifications • Education: Associate’s degree • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Attributes: should be o Friendly and outgoing o Highly organized o Able to prioritize and multi-task independently o Outstanding customer service skills o Ability to manage schedule and run the day smoothly o Excellent communication skills o Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA and radiation regulations
