Our Dental Assistants are such an important part of our practice!! Working in a large practice with amazing doctors and team. Delivering outstanding patient care, each and every day. The ideal candidate is an individual that has a high level of empathy, patience, and a willingness to want to help others. We are growing and added an additional doctor to our team in October. Weand#39;re looking for a self-starter, driven professional, with exceptional skills. This candidate should have 3 plus years of chairside experience along with Eaglesoft knowledge. Schedule will either be: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 - 5:00 or Tuesday, Wednesday andamp; Thursday 8:00 - 5:00 and Fridayand#39;s 8:00 - 3:00. Primary Job Responsibilities: • Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentist • Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terms • Knowledge and experience in cosmetic dentistry • Experienced with assisting doctors with crowns, fillings, extractions, implants, root canals and making temporary crowns, bridges, and placing cord • Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs • Taking digital X-rays, 3D scanner such as Itero or prime • Impressions • Coronal polishing • Perform lab tasks as instructed • Maintaining accurate patient records • Strong communications skills required to deliver oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions • Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental practice • Comfortable working with adults and children Qualifications: • 3 plus years of Dental Assisting experience preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, high moral standards, a self-motivated work ethic and most importantly, and#34;a team playerand#34;... • Coronal polishing • Experienced with assisting doctors with crowns, fillings, extractions, implants, root canals, making temporary crowns, bridges, and placing cord Benefits: • 2 weeks vacation pay • Holiday pay • Dental benefits for you and your immediate family • 3 days and#34;Welland#34; pay • Your Birthday is a paid day off • 401K with company match • Youand#39;ll have the option to participate with: LegalShield, IDShield and Colonial Life, which offers us: Accident, Disability, Critical Illness, Term Life andamp; MDLive Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift Experience: • Dental assisting: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
