We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to support our dental surgeons in delivering top-notch oral surgical care to our patients. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, compassionate, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Patient Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization protocols are followed rigorously. 2. Assisting Surgeons: Assist dental surgeons during surgical procedures, providing necessary instruments and materials as required. 3. Patient Comfort: Ensure patient comfort and provide reassurance during surgical procedures, answering any questions or concerns they may have. 4. Sterilization: Properly sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control standards. 5. X-ray Procedures: Knowledgeably operate dental X-ray equipment and take diagnostic X-rays, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory guidelines. 6. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, medical histories, surgical notes, and X-ray images. 7. Post-Op Care: Provide post-operative care instructions to patients and assist with post-operative appointments as needed. 8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the dental team, including dentists and administrative staff, to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional patient care. 9- Impressions and adjustments: must possess the skill or willing to learn and render tasks including: Taking impressions, simple adjustments to removable prosthesis, removing sutures, denture soft relines, chairside locator housing attachments, digital oral scanning of soft tissue using intraoral scanner, and other procedures involved in delivering high quality dental prostheses and appliances. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of one year of experience as a Dental Assistant. Surgical assisting experience is a plus! - Current Dental Assistant certification and licensure. - Proficiency in operating dental X-ray equipment and a valid X-ray certification. - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and surgical protocols. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic dental practice. - Knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices. - Possess CPR certification. **How to Apply:** If you are a dedicated Surgical Dental Assistant with experience and are looking for a good-paying opportunity to further your career, we encourage you to apply.
