Our team is committed to creating a welcoming environment for our patients, focusing on quality treatment and patient satisfaction. We are now looking to expand our team with a Hygiene Coordinator who shares our commitment to excellence in dental care. Role Overview: As a Hygiene Coordinator, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring our dental hygiene department operates efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for verifying insurance benefits, scheduling hygiene patients, filling gaps in the hygiene schedule, and performing general receptionist tasks. This role requires a proactive, organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: - Insurance Verification: Confirm and verify dental insurance benefits for patients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Patient Scheduling: Schedule hygiene appointments, manage appointment confirmations, and send out reminders to minimize no-shows. - Schedule Management: Identify and fill gaps in the hygiene schedule, maximizing efficiency and patient access to hygiene services. - Receptionist Duties: Perform general front desk tasks, including greeting patients, answering phones, handling inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming office environment. - Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including patient record management and facilitating communication between patients and dental professionals. Qualifications: - Experience in a dental office setting, particularly in scheduling or front desk roles, is highly preferred. - Proficiency in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service. - Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the dynamic needs of a dental practice.
