We are a private practice in Southwest Austin that provides the highest quality periodontal and dental implant care with state-of-the-art technology, top notch biologics and an excellent patient experience. We take great pride in delivering ethical, patient-centered and compassionate specialized care. You can expect a relaxed environment in a modern top floor office over-looking the hills. Our group is small, yet growing and seeking team players that value commitment and autonomy. The office is open Tuesday through Friday, and off early on Fridays. We have a weekly Doordash lunch fund, breakroom snacks, birthday celebrations, holiday lunches and team happy hour/social outings. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and have plans to integrate a goal-based bonus system. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, hardworking administrative assistant to join our team. The ideal front office candidate is outgoing, caring, dependable and professional with strong customer service skills and competence in using an electronic dental record/billing software (Eaglesoft experience a plus). Our office is looking for someone who wants to be a part of a supportive dental family; someone that understands the importance of commitment, hard work and being a team player. The ideal candidate is a quick leaner who thrives with responsible autonomy in a team environment. General Tasks/Skills - File claims and follow up on claim status - Manage emails with patient referrals and website contact messages - Send and verify new patient paperwork is completed before appointments - Verify insurance for new patients and enter into electronic record - Communicate with referring offices on radiographs and other information needed - Schedule new and current patient exams, hygiene appointments, and surgeries - Input patient exam/treatment information into templated letters for referring offices - Assist in filling openings in schedule and help create productive treatment days - Greet patients, check them in and assist with taking payment - Answer phones with great customer service - Transfer information from doctor notes to letter templates to email to referring doctors - Marketing visits to referring offices to drop off snacks/goodies and referral cards - Good organization skills and multitasking is important - Experience with Carestack or Eaglesoft is a plus - Cross-trained is not required but a plus Benefits after 1 year of service: 3% 401(k) employer contribution Employer contribution to HSA account Paid time off Benefits immediately: Employee discount on periodontal services Hygiene cleanings Weekly doordash lunches/snacks Breakroom snacks Birthday celebrations Holiday lunches Team happy hour/social outings
