Join Our Growing Team at Cedar Park Pediatric Dentistry!   At Cedar Park Pediatric Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children from birth through 18 years, addressing their basic dental needs and delivering sparkling, straight smiles with orthodontics. We actively participate in community events and sponsor local schools and activities. We are currently seeking an experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant (minimum of 2 years) who will treat our patients with the utmost care, as if they were family. As a Dental Assistant at our practice, you will support both general and specialty dentists in a fast-paced, efficient office environment. Your role will involve chairside assistance, patient greeting and escorting, radiograph preparation, operatory setup and breakdown, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, you will support front desk operations by managing appointments, checking in patients, verifying demographics, retrieving charts, documenting treatment plans, and handling various administrative tasks.   Basic Requirements: * 2+ years of pediatric dental experience * Vocational/Technical training or Associate’s Degree * Radiology certification and DPH Dental Assistant License * Proficiency with dental software, email, and Microsoft Word * Ability to lift 25 lbs. with or without accommodation   Preferred Qualifications: * Proficiency in taking radiographs * Strong knowledge of infection control procedures * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Experience working with patients with special healthcare needs, including cognitive and developmental disabilities * Ability to interact effectively with patients' parents, guardians, and caregivers * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to efficiently manage time and tasks * Team leader with a proactive and positive attitude   Benefits: * Starting pay ranging from $24–$26 per hour * 401(k) plan * Dental and vision insurance * Flexible spending account (FSA) * Health insurance * Health savings account (HSA) * Paid time off (PTO) and holidays * Short-term and long-term disability insurance * Uniforms provided * Performance bonuses * Pet insurance   Schedule: * Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:45 PM * Oral surgeon on-site every 6 weeks on Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM   License/Certification Required: * Radiology certification * DPH Dental Assistant License
