Business Admin Front Desk/Patient Coordinator for Specialty Practice Houston TMJ Facial Pain and Sleep is a premier specialty practice dedicated to managing TMJ disorders, facial pain, and sleep apnea. Located in the vibrant Galleria Area, our boutique practice is led by Dr. Martinez, a distinguished board-certified orofacial pain and TMJ specialist. Dr. Martinez is one of the country's few board-certified TMJ and Orofacial Pain specialists. Highlights: Excellent communication skills required At least one year of experience in a Medical or Dental Office preferred Familiarity with insurance and billing preferred; training provided if necessary Basic computer skills required, including proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Outlook, Excel/Word Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical or dental receptionist preferred Responsibilities: Warmly greet and assist patients with check-in/check-out procedures Efficiently schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar Coordinate patient referrals to and from the office Handle phone calls and inquiries professionally and empathetically Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Manage new patient leads and assist with administrative tasks Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient flow and satisfaction Create payment plans with patients as needed Pay: $18-22 per hour Job Type: Full-time, 8-5 schedule, 5 days a week, no weekends Additional Information: No emergencies, screaming kids, or blood Opportunities for growth and training available, including learning to assist with CT scans [sign in to DentalPost to see current contact info]
