Description

• Checking patients in and out for appointments • Scheduling and confirming appointments for patients • Answering office phone • Communicating with other dental and medical offices when necessary • Print, send and note referral correspondence for surgical procedures • Insurance verification • Review treatment plan fees and payment with patients • Follow up with monthly aging report of patients with outstanding treatment • Check email and respond. • Take payment for consults checking out and same day surgeries when needed • Ensure patient registration forms are completed for each Consult and New Patient appointment • Ensure referrals and appropriate radiographs are obtained for each Consult and New Patient appointment Schedule: Monday: 7:30-5:00 Tuesday: 7:30-5:00 Wednesday: 8:30-1:00 Thursday: 7:30-5:00 Friday: 7:30-3:00 *end times depend upon Pt dismissal/closeout Benefits Include: Health insurance partial paid premium, retirement savings plan, five paid holidays, and two weeks of PTO Minimum Qualifications: • 1+ years experience working in a dental or medical setting • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Must have reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications: • 1+ years experience with insurance billing or accounts receivable • 1+ years experience with OMSVision or relatable management software Physical Requirements: • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
