Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Concierge to join our dynamic team at our boutique practice located on Magnificent Mile! This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to our patients, while ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers and our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong professional communication skills , a strong background in customer service, organizational skills, computer savviness, leadership capabilities, the ability to multi-task and the ability to learn and grow within the profession. Responsibilities - Manage patient scheduling and coordination to ensure timely appointments and seamless communication between healthcare providers and patients. - Utilize Microsoft, Adobe, Dentrix and other scheduling systems to update patient records and schedules. -Ensure a seamless process reserving patient appointments. - Provide personalized support and care to patients, including assistance with new patient paperwork, paperwork and forms from dental specialists -Communicate with our financial and insurance team to ensure accuracy of information as it pertains to insurance and payments - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure the protection of patient information. - Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure accurate and complete information. - Conduct thorough patient intake and assessment to identify potential health issues. - Coordinate patient referrals to appropriate healthcare providers. - Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide ongoing support. - Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of patient interactions. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the patient experience. - Provide support and respond to patient needs as required. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or a related field. - Experience in customer support and customer service - Proficiency in Microsoft software. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
