Description

We are seeking an exemplary Dental Assistant to join our Periodontal practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in delivering excellent oral health services. This is a rover position but there is always potential for advancement for the right individual. Overall Responsibilities (minimum): 1. Focused initially on support duties: Support Doctors, Lead Assistant, Dental Hygienists 2. Training on chair-side duties to include consults and surgeries. 3. Learn all Periodontal procedures 4. Review patient registration forms & medical history, including medication review 5. Chart notes 6. Treatment Planning 7. Accurate Eaglesoft entries (for Financial coordinator) 8. Be aware of chair-side communication with all doctors 9. Reliability; Teamwork; and Comraderies with other assistants Certification: Demonstrate mastery level of the following duties (minimum). Recertification in select areas as needed: 1. Impressions and pour 2. Stent fabrication 3. FMX 4. E-mail FMX (Dental Office communication) 5. Oral Sedation medications 6. Implant kit (what goes where if had to rebuild the kit) 7. CT scans 8. Trios (digital scanner) 9. Implant Inventory 10. Treatment Planning Protocol 11. Prescriptions 12. Oral Hygiene Instructions 13. Laser set-up Professional, clear, and concise communication is a must. A positive and pleasant personality, along with a level of emotional maturity, is expected.
