Job Title: Dental Hygienist Location: Grinville Dental Clinic, Griffin, GA Position Type: Part-Time About Us: Grinville Dental Clinic is a newly established dental practice in Griffin, GA, dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a modern, patient-focused environment. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dental hygiene and committed to patient care. They will have at least 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist, be capable of working autonomously, and be excited about the opportunity to learn and grow with our practice. This role primarily involves evening & weekend hours, with the potential to transition to a full-time position as our practice scales. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: -Perform detailed dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque and tartar. -Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, assess gum health, and identify potential dental issues. -Take and develop digital X-rays as needed. -Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and maintaining overall dental health. -Apply fluoride treatments and sealants. Clinical Responsibilities: -Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. -Work autonomously to manage patient appointments and ensure timely care delivery. Office Support: -Assist with managing patient flow and maintaining a smooth office operation. -Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. -Help with inventory management and ensure the availability of necessary dental supplies. -Stay current with dental hygiene practices, technologies, and advancements. -Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving practice needs. Qualifications: -Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia. -Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist. -Strong autonomy and ability to work independently. -Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, techniques, and infection control protocols. -Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. -Enthusiasm for learning and growing with the practice.
