Description

As a Dental Lab Assistant, you will play a crucial role the daily working of our highly restorative dental practice. You will work closely with dentists to ensure that each product meets high standards of precision, quality, and functionality. A professional head shot is required with application. Key Responsibilities: Fabrication: Create orthodontic and night guard appliances using various materials and techniques as well as mount and articulate study models Repairs and Adjustments: Repair and adjust dental appliances to ensure proper fit and function. Quality Control: Inspect and verify the quality of finished products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications. Collaboration: Communicate effectively with dentists to understand their needs and specifications for each case. Also with assistants and front office staff on mailing and arrival of cases from outside labs. Understanding of office schedule and preparing for each day accordingly. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of scan intake and shipping informaiton. Maintenance: Keep work area clean and organized, and ensure that equipment and tools are properly maintained. Printing: Utilizing 3d printer and understanding software. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification or formal training in dental technology preferred. Experience: Previous experience as a dental lab technician is highly desirable, but entry-level candidates with relevant training will be considered. Skills: Proficiency in dental lab techniques, strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Technology: Familiarity with dental lab software and equipment. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with dental professionals. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
