We are a dual-specialty orthodontic and pediatric dental practice seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our amazing, high energy and growing team. We are a boutique doctor-owned and operated practice. Our office is modern, high-tech and state-of-the-art. We are located in Charlotte’s Cotswold/Myers Park/South Park area. The ideal candidate is smart, patient, kind, honest, reliable, a team player, and someone who will bring fun energy into our wonderful clinic. **Please note, that a minimum of 1 year experience as an Orthodontic Assistant is required in order to consider your application. ** Duties - Assist doctor during patient appointments and procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for orthodontic procedures - Take and process dental x-rays and impressions and utilize iTero scanner - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care - Maintain patient records and documentation accurately - Utilize Dolphin software for patient charting and scheduling - Handle dental receptionist and administrative duties when needed Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience as an orthodontic assistant - Has all necessary dental assisting credentials - Willing to work in pediatrics as needed Select benefits are available for full-time employment.
