Family owned dental practice in Sugar land is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, the Dental Assistant will provide essential support to our dentists and hygienists in delivering top-notch patient care. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about oral health and have a strong foundation in medical terminology, dental terminology, and aseptic technique. Responsibilities: -Assist dentists and hygienists with patient exams, procedures, and treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients. -Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies in accordance with infection control standards. -Participate in documentation using Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate and compliant records. -Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. -Monitor and maintain a clean and organized dental environment, adhering to aseptic techniques and medical documentation guidelines. -Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Experience: Applicants should be a registered dental assistant with experience. Familiarity with dental terminology is essential. Prior experience with dental documentation and infection control practices is also highly desirable.
