Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: Flemington, NJ Practice: Miles of Smiles Family Dentistry Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Competitive salary based on experience Job Description: Join our dynamic and patient-centered dental practice as a Dental Assistant! We are committed to providing high-quality care and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and empathetic individual to assist our dental team in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: • Assist dentists during clinical procedures and exams. • Prepare and arrange dental instruments, materials, and equipment. • Sterilize instruments following infection control protocols. • Take patient x-rays and ensure proper documentation. • Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. • Maintain patient records, including updating health histories and noting treatment provided. • Support the front office team when needed (scheduling, answering phones). Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program. • Experience in a dental setting preferred. • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment. • Proficiency in digital x-ray equipment and dental software • Friendly, patient-oriented demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment. • Radiology certification and CPR certification required.
