Taking and developing dental x-rays to identify potential problems. Documenting findings and treatment plans for the dentist. Preventative Care: Cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar. Applying fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth. Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, such as brushing and flossing. Counseling patients on nutrition and its impact on oral health. Patient Education: Explaining the importance of regular dental check-ups and preventative care. Providing guidance on maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Assisting the Dentist: Preparing patients for dental procedures. Sterilizing dental equipment. Taking impressions of teeth. Other Duties: Maintaining patient records. Managing the dental office and ensuring a clean and organized environment. - Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday: Office is open from 8 AM - 12 PM - Hyg has their choice of seeing pt's or having the day off. - Breaks: 60-minute Lunch break (not counted as work hours). - Overtime: Overtime available during busy seasons and paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate. - Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required. - Holiday Shifts: Occasional holiday shifts - Competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.
