Our team at East Franklin Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Treatment Coordinator. Hours are 8AM to 5PM Monday to Thursday and 8AM to 12PM Friday. We are a locally owned and operated dental practice with a close knit team. This role is perfect for individuals who are not only passionate about customer service but also eager to learn, as we provide comprehensive training in various dental office procedures and operations. Pay is negotiable and dependent on prior dental experience. Duties - Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Schedule and confirm appointments using Open Dental -Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients and answer questions pertaining to treatment sequencing and scheduling. - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns - Maintain patient records and update medical information in electronic medical records - Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing - Assist with front desk duties such as filing, faxing, and organizing paperwork - Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow - Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality Experience - Previous experience working in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred - Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a must. - Proficiency in using dental software systems - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in joining our team, please reach out today.
