The Hygiene/Financial Coordinator is responsible for working with our proven systems to manage every aspect of a patients financial experience in the practice. Duties include intake of dental plan information, researching plan benefits relative to dental implant and periodontal therapy, accurate input data into Open Dental database, estimating copayments and treatment presentation to patients. Revenue cycle managment includes daily submission of claims and attachments, patient billing as well as monitoring and maintaining AR of both dental plans and patients. To qualify for consideration, candidates will possess confidence; emotional intelligence; credibility and high integrity; and excellent work ethic. The Hygiene/Financial Coordinator Role: This role will require a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills to welcome patients and gather preliminary data. Research and accurately input dental benefits to create accurate financial estimates. Must have excellent interpersonal skills that build effective working relationships with patients and other team members. Must be a self-starter, accountable, and highly motivated to hit and exceed targets to reap financial reward (manage KPls). Maintains professionalism and poise constantly, even when working under pressure. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize competing tasks. Positive outlook and a passion for what we do! Qualifications: Must have at least one year of dental insurance billing Must have experience managing accounts recievables A quick study: can immediately build rapport, assess the patient's needs, and create a sense of urgency to drive action.
