**This is a great opportunity for a dental professional with clinical, front office, or treatment plan coordination experience!** The Territory Manager, Inside Sales will increase the number of dental offices purchasing Sunstar products and will increase the variety and quantity of Sunstar products being purchased by dental offices within TSM's assigned geographic territory. TSM works with clinicians’ offices directly and with authorized dealer organization representatives to accomplish these sales goals. TSM is responsible for growing new business and for retaining existing business. TSM is often the first exposure of SAI to Customers and Dealer representatives. TSM is responsible for projecting a professional image of the company. Essential Job Functions: 1. Develop the assigned territory by meeting annual sales quotas, developing stronger customers through the sales of annual plans, and extending breadth of purchases made of Sunstar products to existing customers. 2. Establish effective professional business relationships with Dental Offices and schools (emphasis on Periodontal, Oral Surgery Offices and Dental Teaching Schools), and authorized Dealers within the assigned Territory to maximize the sale of Sunstar products. 3. Develop and execute a Territory Management Call Plan comprising monthly and quarterly goals for overall business growth, new account growth and account penetration growth. Territory Management Plan will describe measurable activities and results and be approved in advance on a quarterly cycle by the TSM’s manager. 4. Be knowledgeable about dental procedures and dental office practices and about all Sunstar products and promotions. Be able to identify customer needs and appropriately match Sunstar products to those needs. Be knowledgeable about competitive offerings. Generally, earn a reputation as a knowledge resource for Sunstar customers and authorized Dealers. 5. Within established policies and budgets, manage the use of in-person sales calls, clinician group meetings, dealer representative co-travel days and the use of other communication tools to achieve DSM objectives. 6. Update Customer Database (CRM) daily. Submit expense reports as needed. 7. Use other company resources, such as Customer Service and Marketing personnel to enhance TSM productivity and effectiveness. Promptly report market information and customer comments and concerns appropriately within SAI. 8. Set-up, work and teardown company exhibits at Dental Meetings within the Territory as agreed with the TSM’s manager in the Territory Management Plan. Similarly assist at other national and regional dental meetings as may be designated by the TSM’s manager. 9. May travel as necessary to execute the Territory Management Plan. Schedule work activities to best suit the needs of customers and dealer representatives. (Evening and weekend work may be necessary, but infrequent.) 10. Manage expenses within company policies and guidelines. 11. Execute other assignments reasonably given by TSM’s manager. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Education TSM will have four year college degree in business, marketing, life sciences or communications plus relevant sales experience, or a suitable background of clinical or dental industry experience. Knowledge/Experience Independent and effective time management skills. Able to plan, schedule and organize interactions with customers and dealer representatives efficiently. Competence in the use of digital presentation, word processing and spreadsheet software. Competence in the use of company data and reporting systems. Able to present clinical and technical concepts effectively to customers and to dealer representatives. Able to do so in group settings, one to one, over the telephone and in written communications. Physical Requirements/Work Environment May need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periods during the day. May involve the use of a variety of office equipment such as computers, telephones, copiers, etc. Keyboard usage and frequency can be moderate to extensive. Position will spend a significant amount of time sitting but have the ability to move around. Lifting is minimal and does not routinely exceed ten (10) pounds. There is minimal bending, stooping or twisting involved. The performance of this position is in a typical office environment with regulated temperatures, good lighting and traditional office equipment. No special Personal Protective Equipment is required. May occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing environment where under certain areas require the use of Personal Protective Equipment such as hearing protection.
