We run a well-established, two-location pediatric and orthodontics dental
practice with a professional staff of two pediatric dentists and one part- time
orthodontist. Additionally, we employ over 20 auxiliary personnel including
hygienists, assistants, front desk staff, and file clerks. We are seeking to
employ TWO full-time individuals for the following two positions:
1. Front desk personnel: who is highly skilled in checking in and checking out
patients, understanding and doing insurance verification and keeping doctors'
2. Office manager : who is highly skilled in managing a large staff of
employees, and can function as an organized and efficient liaison between
the practice owners and the rest of the dental team. Exceptional candidates will
have a comprehensive understanding of dental office operations and be proficient
in working with multiple software programs such as MS Word and MS Excel.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: promoting the practice via
use of multiple advertising venues, enforcing all policies in our office manual,
keeping track of employee benefits, vacation and sick time, managing ongoing
staffing needs, providing conflict resolution between employees, maintaining
licenses, certificates, and insurance provider agreements for all doctors,
running office meetings, maintaining records of practice and individual provider
collections and identifying areas of concern, hiring and firing of auxiliary
personnel, interfacing with insurance companies for higher level concerns,
intervening in staff/client conflicts and managing payroll interfacing with our
accounting firm to provide necessary practice and employee information, and
routine reporting to practice owners.
