Job Type: Full-time Required experience: Management in Dental Office: 1 year Required education: High school or equivalent Hours: 40+ hours depending on business need M-F with Saturday flexibility Qualifications: High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred At least 1 year of experience in dental field, and 1 year of management Knowledge of dental billing preferred Spanish-speaking strongly preferred Ability to adapt in a busy dental practice environment Previous dental office experience in a similar role required Comfortable working in a busy, ever-changing office environment Thorough knowledge of dental office management Strong understanding of insurance, billing, and collections Working knowledge of Eagle Soft or other dental software program desired Must goal/task oriented and be able to work with limited supervision Professional appearance and demeanor Benefits: Paid Holidays Paid Vacation after 1 year Duties: Account Management Generate Day sheet on daily basis Review the day sheet for accuracy Generate and distribute End-of-Month and End-of-Year Production reports Take necessary payments from non-insurance patients after the treatment is performed Schedule Management Analyze the schedule in advance and work to make it full Manage the schedule to enable doctors to meet their daily production goals. The schedule should have balance between production, cash and overflow patients. Maintain a patient recall list Update the recall list on a weekly basis Make appointments using the recall list to fill gaps in schedule Double-book patients for unconfirmed slots Use recall list to fill immediate openings from no-shows Staff Management: Address any issues the staff might have, and raise them to the general manager or human resource manager if necessary Manage the hours of staff members so that they are balanced with necessary breaks including 30 minutes lunch breaks Keep the hours of staff members to 40 hours or less per week. Inform the general manager if hours are expected to go above 40 in any particular week Treatment Planning: Understand TP from the doctor Discuss with doctor possible discounts that can be offered to the patient Discuss TP with patient in the consult room Discuss financing options with the patient Maintain patient review log for both positive and negative reviews Post positive reviews on company website Discuss negative reviews with general manager on a weekly basis Ensure that payment is collected and receipt is given to patient Setup follow up appointments Setup 6 month recalls Ask patient to fill out a “Tell Us About Your Visit and Refer a Friend Form” Bonus: A discretionary bonus may be rewarded for every week that the practice reaches goal Job Type: Full-time Required experience: Management in Dental Office: 1 year Required education: High school or equivalent
