Director of Operations – Job DescriptionThis position reports directly to the Managing Partner/Owner Doctor(s). Our group of partner dentists and team focus primarily on offering preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry with personalized dental solutions. Job OverviewThis executive level role will assist in the optimization of managing the day to day operations for all locations within the organization. This position will be responsible for providing objective recommendations for office growth and streamlined processes; focused in team development, patient flow, strategic operational growth, office systems, recruitment, etc. Position Status: Full Time,Exempt. | Supervises: All Non-Exempt positions Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor programs that sustain a productive, efficient office environment which facilitates a positive employee experience that aligns with our culture Drives retention strategy in territory, partners with office management to ensure we are creating a sustainable workforce that can be develop teams for future advancementProvides guidance and assistance with development plans, annual review process, and company initiatives to ensure effectiveness and compliance regionallyDevelop, train, coach and lead the operations team to achieve best-in-class results and continuously elevate their performance. Proactively develop regional leadership talent within the organization to ensure a strong leadership pipeline that allows for internal promotions and enables successful clinic growthOversee all front office functions, to include: scheduling, insurance processing, treatment plans, dental payments, patient financing, and all related patient inquiresResolve patient issues/concerns in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations and dental board standardsRegularly hold management meetings to discuss operations, improve office systems, focus on office culture, growth, etc. Communicate with physician on all office updates including staff changes, updates, and revenue changes Directly work with office managers to ensure office systems are efficient and that employees are on task within their job expectations. The role also has support managers that report to them that oversee the insurance and claim processing for all AFD locations. This position collaborates with the company administrative assistant to monitor payroll, employee benefits, daily payment processing, and time corrections. Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors of Science- Business, or equivalent experience: 5+ years of multi-practice experience 10+ years of dental office experience, to include: insurance, treatment planning, office systems, etc. This position does require travel to other locations weekly.
