JMLS is directed by an experienced Board of Dentist and partnered with Walmart Health to help bring affordable and accessible care to their customers. Locations are available or coming available across Georgia. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Educating patients about the state of health of their oral cavity and the impact it may have systemically. • Performing direct/indirect restoration, fixed/removable prosthodontics, endodontics, limited ortho (preferably), CADCAM proficiency (or willing to learn), CBCT proficiency (or willing to learn), oral surgery (simple/surgical extractions) • Acute pain management with medications prior/post treatment. • Local anesthesia administration proficiency • Working with dental and medical referrals to maintain continuity of care for patients • Providing leadership under the guidance of the office lead and management to help with efficiency of patient flow to maintain our “Walmart Health experience!” • Inputting and maintaining accurate notes in patient’s chart to reflect all treatments rendered, proposed treatments and recommendations prior/post treatment just to state a few • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other specialities within Walmart Health MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Graduation from an accredited dental school. • Current, unrestricted licensed in State where practicing • Lack of sanctions or adverse action against licenses held in other states within the past 5 years • Valid DEA • Valid CDS if applicable to state • Current BLS, ALS and PAL certification if performing conscious sedation (delete and replace with the following as we will not be doing conscious sedations: Current BLS at a minimum.) Preferred Qualifications: • Additional experience, certifications, or licensing may be required • Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records. • Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics. • Good leadership skills to be working along side management Interested licensed dentists, residents and new graduates should forward their resumes to .
