Job Title: Dental Front Office Receptionist Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14/hr. + depending on experience Position: Report to Endodontist Location: Near Hermann Park Our office is looking for a responsible, determined Front Desk Dental Receptionist to handle various administrative tasks in our front office area. This role plays an important part in communicating effectively with patients and maintaining an organized administrative schedule. Our dental office is committed to providing optimal dental care. Responsibilities include maintaining and organizing all administrative functions in the front office, including reception tasks - receiving and distributing office mail and email, answering the office phone and distributing calls or messages accordingly, communicating patients’ arrival promptly, managing administrative records and pulling/filing office charts among other duties. Other tasks include appointment scheduling, including maintaining office records, documenting patient dental treatments and transactions, verifying insurance benefits, submitting claims and following up on claims with insurance companies, following office procedures for patient referrals and scheduling of office appointments. Job responsibilities/Duties: • Patient check-in • Answer calls/Set appointments • Verify Insurance/Provider information • Receiving and distributing office mail • Assist in patient care as needed Requirements: • Great administrative organizational skills • Bilingual (English and Spanish) • 1 year of experience preferred • Ability to positively and proactively handle patient concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative • Computer literate is a must • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Please note the duties listed are not limited to your position and you may be instructed as needed to assist and perform additional duties instructed by the Endodontist.
