Description

Part- Time Pediatric Dental Assistant- Experience preferred, but not required. We are looking for a registered dental assistant to work part time and act as a floater between our three locations. We need someone who is friendly, flexible and works well in a fast-paced environment. We love our patients, and want someone who truly enjoys working with children. We are an established practice who has been serving the Fort Worth community since 1995. We have four doctors who float between our three offices. The position will require working primarily at two of our offices: 5700 Edwards Ranch Rd. Suite 100 Fort Worth and 705 W. Bailey Boswell Suite 100 Saginaw. You will be asked to work at our third location 4100 Heritage Trace Parkway Fort Worth on an as needed basis only. The work schedule would be Monday, Thursday and two Fridays a month. We schedule patients from 8-5 Monday and Thursday, and 8-12 on Fridays. Experience is preferred, but not required. Our staff has years of experience and will offer the training needed to fulfill the job duties. We use Dentrix at our Forth Worth and Keller locations and Dentrix Ascend at our Saginaw location. Requirements: • Texas Dental Assistant License • Nitrous Certification • Must be willing to travel to all three offices and understand that you may be asked to help out last minute at one of our other offices due to call ins. • Honesty, integrity, and accountability • Must be personable and a team player Responsibilities • Assist the doctor with all dental procedures • Take radiographs of patients • Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patient’s chart. • Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart • Help clean the office and treatment rooms • Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance • Assist with other office duties as requested or needed Hourly pay will be based on experience and knowledge
