The Dental Practice Manager oversees all administrative operations in the dental office from taking charge of all administrative responsibilities for front office employees to include reception, and dental assistant specialists. Ideal candidate must have previous dental experience (Eagle soft), able to multi-task, work well under pressure, ability to supervise day to day office activities. Responsibilities: • Respond efficiently to patients’ needs and inquiries. • Ensure the delivery of quality dental care to patients. • Resolve patients’ issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations and dental board standards. • Manage patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow. • Present treatment plans to patients. • Billing and coding appropriately. • Organize and present financial arrangements to patients. • Arrange payment schedules with patients. • Oversee the processing of dental claims. • Manage specialist referral process. • Recruit and select office staff to meet operational requirements. • Train, develop, and performance manage staff to meet performance standards. • Purchasing agent for office, administrative, and maintenance supplies. Education and Experience • Supervisory experience in Dental Practice. • At least 3 years experience. • Knowledge of dental terminology. • Knowledge of dental office procedures. • Knowledge of accounting and administrative principles and procedures. • Knowledge of insurance plans and claims processing. • Knowledge of Dental Software – Eagle Soft. • Knowledge of MS Office. • Strong written and communications skills. • Efficient and effective patient appointing for maximum productivity.
