Were in search for bubbly and bilingual Patient Coordinator for our Texas Dentistry for Kids Mesquite location. This individual will need to be able to communicate effectively, be a fast learner, and have great customer service. The perfect candidate should possess medicaid and chip insurance knowledge in a pediatric office setting. PPO insurance knowledge is a plus. They will need to be responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. This position does require two Saturdays a month. Patient Coordinator Requirements: • 1 or more years of dental front office experience (pediatric preferred) • Medicaid and Chip knowledge • Bilingual is required • Must be able to communicate face to face, through email, and phone • Must be team-oriented and willing to collaborate with others. Must have a patient first philosophy. • Ability to commute to Terrell if needed • 2 Saturdays a month. Patient Coordinator Benefits: • Competitive Pay • Paid Time Off after 6 months • Health, Vision, and Voluntary life insurance Dental Employee Discount Patient Coordinator Job Duties: • Check-in/ check-out Patients – Providing great patient service with a smile and positive attitude. Making sure information has been entered correctly. Gets copy of insurance card. Collects Monies when required. Making sure follow up appointments have been scheduled. Initial audit. • Schedule Patients- Appointments are made correctly and are communicated correctly • Medical Records- Makes sure all records and consents are completed • Calling patients with insurance estimates and if necessary/verifying insurance benefits • Completing data reporting in a timely manner, handling incoming/outgoing phone calls. • Treatment Plans/Charges- Make sure that treatment plan charges. Is able to accurately answer insurance/finance questions pertaining to the treatment plan Job Types: • Full-time What we are doing to stay safe during Covid-19: To keep our employees and patients safe we have implemented screening of employees and patients. We have proper PPE in place (masks, face shields, gowns, and gloves). We have added extra oral suction, UV air purifiers, and isolation barriers at the front.
