Description

Our Dental office is looking to hire a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our hygienists play an essential role in helping our patients maintain their oral health, including: • Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including patient screening procedures, assessment of oral health conditions, reviewing of the health history, oral cancer screening, dental charting, x-rays, dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants • Perform a thorough assessment of the patients teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions • Customize care to meet patients oral health and educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques • Collaborate with the dentist on procedures and emergencies as needed • Maintain patient confidentiality • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards • Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in Illinois and current CPR certification are required. • New Hygienists are welcome to apply.
