Lanier Valley Dentistry is looking for a team player who is not only very skilled in all aspects of the front office, but brings a lot of fun and personality to our cosmetic and family dental practice. See our website: www.LanierValleyDentistry.com To be specific, we would like to find a front office person who can greet the patients as they come in the door with a friendly smile, explain patients insurance benefits, schedule hygiene and restorative appointments, treatment planning, and billing. We need someone efficient, organized and reliable on a daily basis. The position would be available immediately. We do a wide range of dental procedures but currently the majority of the practice is implant, crown, bridge, surgery and root canals. We are looking for someone that has great experience and knowledge in these types of procedures. The front office person must be able to perform many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills and can also handle all the responsibilities of the front office. In addition to the skills set forth above, we look for the following from our staff. **Be outgoing and ready to work! Primary Responsibilities: -Willing and able to handle all front office needs including phone calls, scanning documents, electronically filing insurance claims -Understand and organize insurance, appointing, scheduling both operative and hygiene, and financial management -Discuss financial terms with patients prior to services being rendered -Describe dental treatment plans and procedures -Understand digital radiographs and applying them to insurance claims Secondary responsibilities: -Communicating patients medical history, inputting data into electronic charts -Follow infection control protocols, wear a mask at all times -Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment -Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures -Performing office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies) -Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics **Please include a photo with your application/resume and a copy of any additional qualifications (ie BLS, diplomas, certifications).
