We are a general family practice that is privately owned and we are currently looking to invite a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team! We have two amazing dentist who are very knowledgeable and enjoy training or coaching. This practice was built with a passion for providing exceptional dental care and the best possible experience for each and every patient. It’s about more than a great dental experience; it’s about building trust and relationships. Hours? We are a Monday – Thursday office however we will take a vote for potential Fridays to open to relieve our hygiene schedule or for large restorative/cosmetic cases. Not every team member will be obligated to come in and by doing this we are able to offer additional hours, if interested. Additional information about hours: Clock in/out times: Mon-Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30 or until the last patient leaves or duties are complete. First Patient is scheduled at 8:30 and the last is scheduled no later than 3:30. We do our best to all break at the same time for lunch, however times vary. How much experience do I need to apply? We are looking for a teammate with 2+ years of experience but a new dental assistant with an excellent attitude and work ethic is encouraged to apply. We do things differently here so there’s a lot of opportunity to learn something new, even for the experienced dental assistants out there. We are a digital dental office, we do everything from digital x-rays to 3D models and 3D x-rays. This helps us improve the outcomes for our patients. What are we looking for? The right candidate will be upbeat, a team player, organized, self-motivated, compassionate, a good communicator, and have solid clinical skills. We consider it our number one priority to make sure all of our patients feel comfortable and welcome by treating everyone with warmth and care. We see patients of all ages and backgrounds, including patients with disabilities so we expect every person on our staff to be patient, understanding, and professional. Expected duties: Primarily - Treatment assistant. Must be able to take digital x-rays, able to help with sterilization/turning over rooms, restock rooms, perform four-handed dentistry, and back up all other staff members as needed to keep the office running smoothly. You must also be able to perform periodontal charting, educate our patients on good oral hygiene techniques, discuss nutrition as it relates to oral health, perform coronal polishing, sealants. A N2O monitoring certification is a plus as well as experience assisting with surgical procedures. We also expect that you are able or willing to learn how to take intraoral scans with an iTero. Again we are willing to train the right person. Qualifications: Current and active Texas Registered Dental Assistant License. Current BLS/CPR certification. Please provide a copy of this with your resume. Nitrous monitoring certification is a plus. Practice of Health and Safety precautions and regulations, understand and follow HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Be a reliable and collaborative team member. PPE is provided as we follow all ADA and CDC rules . Dental Software - Curve Hero, training will be provided. Must have a positive attitude. Benefits: *After 90 day probationary period.
