Full Job Description: Our dental office is looking for a full time independent and team-oriented dental hygienist that can multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with little oversight. At Once Upon a Smile, we expect our staff to have strong interpersonal skills, resilience, good communication, and be able to grow to match our practice. If you have these qualities, we are looking for you! Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Dental cleanings • X-Rays • Accurate charting • Patient education • Provide support to doctor as needed Our Ideal Candidates will have: • 1+ years dental hygienist experience • Registered dental hygienist • Able to communicate effectively with patients and other clinic personnel • Friendly and up-beat personality • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis • Cross training a plus (Front and Back) • Enhance and not detract from the office culture by being an exceptional team player • High School diploma or equivalent • Dentrix software proficient • OSHA/HIPPA Compliant • Reliable commute to Hoffman Estates, IL Expected Hours: • Monday: 8:30AM – 5:30PM (4:30 PM Summer) • Tuesday: 8:30AM – 5:30PM (4:30 PM Summer) • Wednesday: Currently 11:30AM – 5:30PM (4:30 PM Summer), Near Future 8:30AM – 5:30PM (4:30 PM Summer) • Thursday: 8:30AM – 5:30PM (4:30 PM Summer) • Friday: 8:30AM – 2:30PM (Near Future) We are offering our full-time candidates: Hourly Pay: $40-$42/hour dependent on experience Benefits: • 401K/IRA and Matching • Health Insurance • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays • Shorter Summer Hours • No Weekends!!
