Full-Time Dental Hygienist Wanted! We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private practice! We believe in providing the best overall experience for our patients and are looking for someone who is committed to doing the same. The ideal candidate for this position must be a reliable, self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must also be energetic, enjoys working with adults and children, and a team player with the ability to multitask. Responsibilities: Educate patients in all aspects of oral health to provide a better understanding of prevention methods and restorative needs Taking digital dental radiographs (x-rays) Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth Applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides) Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling) Counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health Making impressions of patients teeth for study casts (models of teeth used by dentists to evaluate patient treatment needs) Performing documentation and office management activities Work together with the team to provide top-notch dental services. Work hard to ensure patient care and experience is top priority. Make sure each patient has a pleasant experience.
