NC Pediatric Dentistry aims to provide excellent dental treatment by going beyond the basics to ensure visits are safe, relaxed, informative, and fun for children! We are currently seeking a motivated Office Manager or Patient Service Supervisor (PSS) to join our growing team in Fuquay and Dunn! Job Summary: The Office Manager or Patient Services Supervisor (PSS) and Patient Service Representative (PSR) provides vital office support that maximizes the flow of front desk operations. Ownership of this position delivers the high standard of customer service necessary to maintain the overall Patient Experience while adhering to our Mission and Core Values. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: Collaborate with Patient Relations Developer in all aspects of training, staffing and functionality while providing substantial and valuable feedback. Satisfy all mandatory training requirements as assigned and provided by the Patient Relations Developer via various training tools. Sustain the execution and flow of the patient schedule to provide the best Patient Experience while fostering a team environment. Substitutes the management of front desk operations in the absence of the Patient Services Supervisor (PSS). Performs a variety of detail-oriented administrative tasks that anticipates the needs of the team and patients alike. Education and Experience Requirements: Must have at least three years of experience in dental front desk operations. Must have experience with Dentrix. At least one year of pediatric dental experience preferred. Currently certified in OSHA, HIPAA and CPR desired but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and ideas. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills. The ability to effectively work as a team member, function independently, exercise sound judgment and initiative, be flexible to shift priorities, maintain patient confidentiality and establish and maintain effective interpersonal work relationships is required.
