Description: Lead dental assistants work with other dental assistants and team members in the dental practice. They are expected to handle the same usual and customary duties performed by any other dental assistants in the practice but also handle supervisory and administrative tasks as well. This Job Description identifies the major responsibilities of this position. It does not include all aspects of this position such as potential duties assigned by supervisors and requirements for flexibility. The Lead Dental Assistant is responsible for the development of the other DAs in the office.
