Position: Registered Dental Assistant About the opportunity: We have a great opportunity to add a Registered Dental Assistant to our team! The practice is located in the heart of Plano,TX , the practice is open M-Th. Requirements: An active RDA license Registered Dental Assistant Responsibilities Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if necessary Prepare and layout sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
