About Us: The Family Dental Boutique, PA is a small boutique dental practice located in the gateway area of St. Petersburg, FL. The office strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients. The practice offers a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to crowns, and bridges. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a face-paced dental office. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring a comfortable experience for patients. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning. • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and sterilized equipment. • Take and develop dental X-rays as needed. • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care. • Sterilize dental instruments and maintain infection control standards. • Manage patient records and update charts accurately. • Order and maintain dental supplies and inventory. • Provide chairside assistance to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency. Qualifications & Skills (required): • Experience: Prior experience as a dental assistant preferred • Certification: X-ray certification and CPR certification preferred • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and patient care. • Team Player: Ability to work well with dentists, hygienists, and front desk staff. • MUST have expanded function certificate Benefits: • health insurance • 401K *After your 90-day probationary period, you will be eligible to receive benefits.
