Description

We are a busy dental surgery office and are excited to find another team member to join us! Competitive hourly pay, PTO and Holiday Pay offered with the ability to grow with the practice and increase your hourly wages as your skill set and responsibilities expand, and your job performance excels. Seeking an individual with previous experience in oral surgery or a lead role in general dentistry. Duties: - Reviewing and preparing for the schedule in advance to prepare all needed instruments, supplies, implants and lab cases for the following day - Keep the schedule running on-time - Set-up treatment rooms for procedures and examinations - Professional, accurate and complete data entry - Sterilize instruments - Chair-side assist during surgeries and IV sedation - Take radiographs and CBCT - Monitor stock levels of inventory and dental supplies - Maintenance, compliance and documentation needed for x-ray units, x-ray sensors, autoclaves, ultrasonic, waterlines, vacuum lines, distilled water and external dental water reservoirs. - Maintain pristine and organized dental operatories, sterilization area and dental laboratory. - Laboratory work such as pouring models and making splints. Required Personal Attributes - Reliable and punctual - Superior time management and organizational skills - Fast- learner, good memory. - Trainable and retains training knowledge. - Ability to plan ahead and be prepared for your job duties and responsibilities - Naturally neat and tidy - Dedication and commitment to professionalism Requirements: - Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification - Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor - X-Ray certification - Knowledge using Open Dental is advantageous Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: Great hours for work/life balance Monday to Thursday 7:45 - 5:15 Some Friday mornings. No evenings or weekends Practice types: privately-owned, periodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, multi-specialty, PPO and FFS
