You’ll provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services in collaboration with a dedicated clinical team. The ideal hygienist is friendly, organized, and passionate about helping patients achieve lasting oral health through education and personalized care. What You’ll Do - Perform comprehensive cleanings, scaling, and root planing - Evaluate oral health, chart findings, and identify signs of gum disease - Take and interpret digital X-rays using Dexis - Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive agents - Assist in periodontal maintenance and Arestin or laser therapy as needed - Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Maintain sterilization and infection control standards - Communicate effectively with the dentist and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care What You’ll Bring - Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Active California RDH license - CPR certification and current Hepatitis B vaccination - Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend, Dexis, and laser therapy - Strong interpersonal communication and time-management skills - Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional demeanor Schedule - Monday–Friday - 8:00am–5:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm Compensation and Benefits - $55–$65 per hour - PTO, dental insurance, holiday pay, and 401(k) - Stable, growth-oriented work environment with a focus on collaboration If you’re a motivated hygienist looking for a long-term professional home in a friendly, well-run Davis practice, we’d love to meet you.
