Oral Surgery Practice in Charlotte is seeking an experienced Surgical Assistant to join our team. Must have the ability to multi-task and be self-motivated. Adaptable to work with multiple doctors, strong communication skills and a desire to work as a team. Responsibilities: -Assist surgeons with consults, surgical and post op procedures. -Monitor and recover sedated patients. -Take X-rays and impressions. -Enter patient information into an EMR computer system. Compliance of OSHA Standards, sterilization, biohazard and infection control. Sterilizing instruments, setting up trays and restocking supplies. Experience/Qualifications: Certified DAII through a program or 1 year experience in Oral Surgery Preferred. Radiographic Certification, DAANCE Certification a plus but not required.
