****** PEDIATRIC DENTAL PRACTICE******* We are growing and looking for a full time entry level front office team member, for our busy pediatric dental practice in Rockwall. If you are the one we are looking for you must be DEPENDABLE, responsible, organized, you must communicate effectively and be able to multi-task with a friendly, caring and professional attitude in a very fast pace atmosphere. MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER AND BE READY TO WORK! Job duties include but are not limited to: - Greeting patients - Answering phones - Scheduling and confirming appointments - Preparing, patient files / routing slips - Scanning insurance and all other necessary paperwork in patient files - Verifying and entering dental insurance correctly with complete breakdowns - Explaining to patients their dental coverage - Treatment planning and pre-treatment estimates - Presenting treatment plans to patients - Check out and release patients - Collect payments - Preparing claims using correct and up to date CDT codes - Filing claims and pre-treatment estimates to batches with the correct insurance - Working with patient recall and reactivation system - Assisting with ANY and ALL office duties as needed or assigned Previous dental experience and a knowledge of Open Dental software would be helpful.
