Description

We are a Private dental practice seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Office Manager to lead our front office operations and support the overall success of our team. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, and experienced in creating a warm, patient-centered environment while ensuring the office runs efficiently. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in dentistry (required) At least 2 years in an Assistant Manager or Manager role within a dental practice Proficient with Open Dental software Strong understanding of treatment planning, basic insurance processes, and dental terminology Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Key Responsibilities Practice Management & Leadership Oversee day-to-day operations of a private, family-oriented practice, ensuring efficient patient flow and a welcoming atmosphere Lead, train, and support front office staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture Manage staff schedules, coordinate workflow, and uphold high quality and customer service standards Patient Relations & Case Acceptance Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients Manage and track case acceptance, ensuring patients understand recommended care and financial options Oversee follow-up systems, pending treatment plans, and recall to support patient retention Fill the schedule and optimize the day Financial & Administrative Duties Provide oversight for outsourced insurance verification and outsourced insurance billing teams Ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks performed by outsourced partners Review claims aging, follow up as needed, and communicate discrepancies Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) management, focusing on patient portions, overdue balances, and collections Maintain organized financial documentation and assist the practice owner with reporting Operational Efficiency Ensure proper documentation, accurate data entry, and adherence to established office protocols Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain a seamless and efficient workflow Maintain compliance with all workplace, legal, and safety standards
