Education & Certification High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program preferred Current RDA certification (or ability to obtain) is a plus Current CPR/BLS certification Clinical Skills: Proficient in chairside assisting for general dentistry; experience with implants, extractions, and restorative procedures is highly preferred Ability to take high-quality digital X-rays Familiarity with intraoral scanning is a plus Knowledge of sterilization protocols and OSHA/infection-control standards Ability to set up and break down treatment rooms efficiently Comfortable with dental charting and electronic records with Dentrix software. Administrative & Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with patients and team members Ability to review treatment plans and explain basic procedures to patients Basic computer proficiency (EHR systems, scheduling software, emails, etc.) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional Qualities Reliable and punctual Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the practice Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, and bend for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
