Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, maintaining high standards of infection control, and supporting the overall efficiency of our dental team. Experience with EMR systems such as XLDENT and GenDex, along with a strong background in general dentistry, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern clinic environment focused on comprehensive dental health. Duties -Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to prevent decay and gum disease -Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review -Take and develop medical imaging, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort -Assist with chairside procedures using aseptic techniques and infection control protocols -Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans -Document treatment procedures accurately in EMR systems such as XLDENT and GenDex -Review medical records for relevant health information prior to treatment -Support patients with specialized care tailored to their needs -Collaborate with dentist during procedures and routine exams -Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety standards Requirements -Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice -Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinics preferred -Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques -Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance -Experience with dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting and patient care is a plus -Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and patient assessment accurately -Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient education and care -Ability to work effectively within a team environment -This position offers an engaging work environment dedicated to delivering top-tier dental healthcare while fostering professional growth.
